Our Story
The Growing Wild For Nature project started just over a year ago when we realised just what a need there is to help young people reconnect with the natural world. Not only are we facing a huge ecological crisis, but today's society is so fast-paced that many children now don't have the same opportunities to enjoy nature that older generations had. We wanted to create an event that would help educate, empower and inspire - getting kids enthused and excited about the natural world so would want to take on the role of Nature Guardian. We have designed a range of hands on and immersive activities, all with the core message of how each of us can help. Although we do share sobering and unavoidable facts about the loss of biodiversity, we are all about focusing on the positives
Our Mission
We aim to get kids reconnected with nature at a time when this is more important than ever. We want to create networks of young people and schools leading the way in protecting our precious wildlife and ecosystems
Upcoming events
Throughout 2025 we will be inviting schools to join us at our beautiful base - Michelham Priory in East Sussex. There we will embark on unfilled days of adventure & learning to see how we can all best help nature. Do get in touch if you are affiliated with a school who would like to get involved.
